Editorial policy

Our goal is simple: help you understand what kind of credit card fits you, without a sales pitch.

We never name a card

Our guides explain card types and how they work. We do not name, rank or recommend specific cards, issuers or card networks.

Accuracy and sources

  • Rules, rates and fees come from regulators (such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Reserve) and other primary sources wherever possible, and each guide lists its sources.
  • Card terms change often. Typical ranges are labelled as such, and each guide shows when it was last checked.
  • If we get something wrong, we fix it. Send corrections through our contact page.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with research, first drafts and editing. Every AI-assisted guide goes through automated checks before it can be published: specific facts must match a cited source, duplicates are blocked, and no card or issuer names are allowed. Guides that fail a check are held for an editor.

Not financial advice

Our guides are general education. They are not financial, legal or tax advice for your situation.
